Hello,

My name is Rita Jean Moran and I am the founder of the Volo Historical Society.  This is my creation after years of research in the Volo and surrounding areas.  My research involves Native Americans and Archaic peopling of the world, mythology, history, and pre-history.  Prior to researching the area, I wrote many books on mythology and ancient history.  I became interested in Volo after a paranormal experience.  I began researching the area and the pioneer period, when I stumbled into an even larger mysterious past of Volo and the area that has actually fit into my areas of research.

I intend to continue researching and presenting to the public to educate and draw attention to a hidden past which is my area of specialization.  If and when this organization is ready to expand with a team and be passed on, it will be.  Until then, it's just me and I have a lot to tell and show.  Thank you.
